Over the course of the past two years, the Appalachian Community Theater (A.C.T.) have performed both Southern Fried Funeral and Southern Fried Nuptials by Osborne and Eppler.

Set in modern day Mississippi, the Frye Family encounters the typical frustrations involved in burying a loved one and the marriage of a daughter.

A.C.T. performed these shows at the Running Right Conference Center in Julian West Virginia in June of 2018 (Funeral) and June of 2019 (Nuptials). Southern Fried Funeral was Directed by Roger Burdette and Southern Fried Nuptials was Directed by John Holstein.
